Composizione Possono contenere calcio ed essere quindi radiopachi; possono contenere acido urico ed essere quindi radiotrasparenti.

Terapia 1 Bicarbonato di sodio o simili (calcoli radiotrasparenti)
2 Litotrissia (calcoli radiopachi): implica la frantumazione del calcolo che non venga eliminato spontaneamente e viene effettuata tramite Laser Holmium o laser Tullio. L’utilizzo del laser permette un’azione più mirata senza danneggiare le strutture circostanti. L’impiego del laser nel trattamento endoscopico della calcolosi urinaria rappresenta il trattamento d’elezione.
